Contains 90mg Lasalocid/kg (as 600mg Bovatec® A4395 per kg)
Feed to calves from 3 or 4 days of age, increasing the amount of pellets up to 1kg per calf per day, until weaning is complete. Calves should also be provided with good quality hay, and have access to clean water at all times.
For the control of coccidiosis and improved liveweight gain, feed 1kg of pellets per 60kg calf, to provide 90mg Lasalocid per day (equivalent to 1.5mg Lasalocid/kg live weight per day).
Dogs, horses and donkeys must not have access to the pellets, as ingesting Bovatec® may be fatal to these species.
Care must be exercised when feeding concurrently with other antimicrobials. Do not feed with other ionophores, eg Monensin capsule, liquid or premix. Do not exceed the recommended dose rates. Bovatec® is registered pursuant to the ACVM Act 1997, No A4395. See www.nzfsa.govt.nz/acvm for registration conditions.
