Miro Feeds Ltd is owned and managed by leading animal nutritionist Frank Bellerby, who, after 15 years of being heavily involved in the animal nutrition industry, decided to follow a personal belief that farmers needed an approachable animal feeds company that offered a personal and honest service providing quality animal nutrition advice and support, and supplying the nutritionally optimum feed solutions.

Miro Feeds was established in 2000 to service local Waikato farms with the ingredients they required to fulfil their diet requirements. Since then our customer base has grown (and is still expanding rapidly!) across New Zealand suppling a variety of animal feed solutions. We are proud to offer:

An introduction from Frank Bellerby

"Hello my name is Frank Bellerby and I have been in the animal nutrition industry for over 15 years. Before that I have been involved in farming all my life.

I grew up on a sheep,beef and deer farm in Rotorua. I then completed a B.AgrSc (Hons) at Massey. Following this I headed overseas to further my practical knowledge. This included working on the straw harvest in Newmarket, England;managing two deer farms in Cornwall,England and managing a wild boar farm in Windsor, England.

With this practical knowledge under my belt I came back to NZ to begin work in 1993 as an animal nutritionist for a large supplier of feed and vitamin/mineral premixes to the NZ agricultural sector. This was the beginning of my exciting and rewarding new career.

I started Miro Feeds Ltd because I felt that there was a real need for an animal feeds company that offered a personal service providing animal nutrition advice and supplying the nutritionally optimum products to benefit the health of the animal.   It is therefore my mission to offer accurate animal nutritional advice and supply premium animal feeds and animal health products to help and support local farmers.

We can quote on all feeds including calf,pig, horse and chicken. All the while ensuring that quality is NEVER compromised.
