"I have been in the animal nutrition industry for over 15 years. Before that I have been involved in farming all my life. I grew up on a sheep,beef and deer farm in Rotorua. I then completed a B.AgrSc (Hons) at Massey. Following this I headed overseas to further my practical knowledge. This included working on the straw harvest in Newmarket, England;managing two deer farms in Cornwall,England and managing a wild boar farm in Windsor, England. With this practical knowledge under my belt I came back to NZ to begin work in 1993 as an animal nutritionist for a large supplier of feed and vitamin/mineral premixes to the NZ agricultural sector. This was the beginning of my exciting and rewarding new career."
